A resin waste melting and volume reducing device (10), comprising a chuting port (15) for chuting resin waste, a cutter (38) for pulverizing the chuted resin waste, a screen (39) allowing the resin waste pulverized into a specified dimension or below to pass therethrough, a transportation means (49) for transporting the resin waste passed through the screen, a melting means (44) for melting the resin waste fed by the transportation means in a glucose shape, and a discharge port (44a) for discharging the molten resin waste, whereby, since the resin waste is formed transportably by the transportation means, the resin waste can be reduced in volume at a site where the resin waste is produced.
