Abstract:

[Problem] To reduce the volume of a database that obtains welding parameters. [Solution] A first database 38 outputs a welding current 44, an energization period 46, and an applied pressure 48, which correspond to fundamental factors 32 including material quality, material thickness, and electrode type. A second database 40 outputs a trend formula 52 for correcting the output of the first database 38 in accordance with a property of an additional factor 34. A factor selection device 36 selects a factor and searches the databases 38, 40. A calculation device 42 uses the search result from the second database 40 to perform a correction calculation process on the search result from the first database 38, and outputs welding parameters 50 including the welding current 44, the energization period 46, and the applied pressure 48.
