Abstract:
A resolver stator having an annular core (10) with teeth (11), an insulator (20) covering a portion of the core (10), winding wires wound around the teeth (11) with the insulator (20) therebetween, and a cover covering the winding wires and crossover wires that are extensions thereof, wherein the insulator (20) comprises winding wire portions (21), crossover wire portions (22a), protective walls (23), and a plurality of island portions (25 (24)), and positioning projections (33 (34)) are formed on the island portions (25 (24)). The cover is formed by segment covers (40) which are segmented in the circumferential direction, and each segment cover (40) is fixed by welding to the island portions (25 (24)) at projections (44 (43)). Each segment cover (40) is positioned by fitting a positioning recess (47 (45)) of the projection (44 (43)) to the positioning projection (33 (34)), and a side wall (42) is sandwiched between the protective wall (23) and positioning projection (33 (34)). Thus, for stators having covers, a stator with excellent productivity and performance can be provided even if the stator has a large diameter.
