Abstract:
A resonator (101) and a cavity filter. The resonator (101) comprises a resonant cavity (102), and a loaded dielectric (103), a resonant rod (104), and a frequency modulation rod (105) accommodated within the resonant cavity (102), wherein the resonant cavity (102) comprises a cover plate (106), a side wall (107), and a bottom wall (108). The resonant rod (105) comprises a resonant cylinder (109) and a loading disk (110). One end of the resonant cylinder (109) is disposed at the bottom wall (108). The loading disk (110) is disposed at another end of the resonant cylinder (109). An upper surface of the loaded dielectric (103) is connected to the cover plate (106), and a lower surface thereof is connected to the loading disk (110). The loaded dielectric (103) is provided with a first through hole (201). One end of the frequency modulation rod (105) passes through the cover plate (106), and extends into the first through hole (201). The invention effectively improves the Q factor and power capacity of the resonator (101) while ensuring miniaturization thereof.
