Abstract:

In communications via a communication satellite, a first communication resource is allocated to a first beam the communication satellite is to irradiate toward the earth by means of digital beam forming; a second communication resource different from the first communication resource is allocated to a second beam to be caused to cover, within a first area covered by the first beam, a second area smaller than the first area; and the communication satellite is then caused to irradiate the second beam by means of digital beam forming.
