Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application disclose a resource configuration method and a communication apparatus. The resource configuration method comprises: an integrated access and backhaul mobile terminal (IAB MT) determining a first time slot configuration (TDD) configuration according to a first transmission situation, the first transmission situation comprising a transmission situation of at least one frequency domain resource set among a plurality of frequency domain resource sets that access an integrated access and backhaul distributed unit (IAB DU), the first TDD configuration being a public cell TDD configuration or a dedicated TDD configuration; and the IAB MT determining a resource location according to the first TDD configuration. It may be known from the foregoing technical solutions, the IAB MT selects a corresponding TDD configuration according to the transmission situation of at least one frequency domain resource set, so as to determine the resource location. Missing receiving a downlink signal or mistakenly sending an uplink signal due to the IAB MT using an incorrect TDD configuration is avoided, and the communication transmission performance is improved.
