A resource indication method, a device for the same, and a communication system. The resource indication method comprises: a terminal apparatus receiving resource indication information sent by a network apparatus, the resource indication information indicating resource grid offset information of a bandwidth part on a first type of carriers, or the terminal apparatus receiving configuration information sent by the network apparatus, the configuration information comprising information related to a virtual second type of carriers configured on the first type of carriers; determining, according to the configuration information, that a direct current subcarrier is at a center of the virtual second type of carriers; and determining predetermined resource grid offset amounts of subcarriers in the first type of carriers that have a position in a frequency domain greater than or equal to the position of the direct current subcarrier. The invention enables MTC apparatuses and apparatuses using a future system (e.g., NR) to consistently understand frequency domain positions of resources available for scheduling, such that the MTC apparatuses are compatible with the apparatuses using a future system (e.g., NR) on a novel type of carriers, and operate normally.
