Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine, while registered with a non-standalone network, whether a count of radio resource control connection releases satisfies a release threshold, based at least in part on transmitting one or more service requests. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on determining that the count satisfies the release threshold, an indication that the UE does not support dual connectivity with New Radio. Numerous other aspects are provided.
