Abstract:
Provided is a retaining unit that is easily incorporated into a die and has excellent versatility. Also provided are: a retaining unit capable of being compactly incorporated into a die; an ejection mechanism of a molding die provided with the retaining unit; a fixed-side die; a movable-side die; a molding die; and a molded article. The retaining unit is provided with: a movable ejector pin 10; a ring-shaped member 11 immovably fixed for use; and a ball plunger 12 that is attached to the ring-shaped member 11 to press the ejector pin 10 and that locks the ejector pin 10 with respect to the ring-shaped member 11. When a prescribed force or more is applied in a movement direction of the ejector pin 10, the ejector pin 10 is disengaged from the ring-shaped member 11 and becomes movable. The ball plunger 12 is incorporated into the ring-shaped member 11, forming a unit.
