Abstract:

A retracting mechanism comprises a catcher (2) provided in a door frame (H') and catching a striker body (1) being moved from a front side (F) when a door (D') is turned toward a reference position; a brake unit (5); and an cooperation means (3) of the catcher and the brake unit. The catcher (2) is provided to turn reciprocally between a standby position and a rounding position and arranged to catch the striker body (1) at the standby position and to turn reciprocally to the rounding position. Braking by the brake unit (5) acts on the turning motion of the catcher (2) toward the rounding position through a connection gear member (30).
