Abstract:
Provided are a retransmission method and a communication apparatus, which method and apparatus can meet the communication requirements of data transmission in terms of both low latency and high reliability, can improve the efficiency of data transmission and the reliability of data transmission, and can be applied to wireless or wired communication systems. The method comprises: after receiving a signal from a second device, a first device performing first decoding on the signal, then determining whether there are errors in the signal and determining a first number, and finally determining, according to a relationship between the first number and a first threshold value, whether to request the second device to send a first data block, wherein the first number is the number of errors in the signal received from the second device, the signal is used to transmit the first data block, and the first threshold value is the maximum number of errors that can be corrected by the first device during the decoding of the first data block.
