Abstract:
A retransmitted data detecting method capable of enhancing the performance of detecting retransmitted data and thereby improving the throughput of a MIMO communication system. A first data sequence composed of sub-streams transmitted from antennas is detected. The posterior probability of the first data sequence is calculated and stored. The posterior probability of a second data sequence containing a part of the retransmitted sub-streams of the first data sequence is calculated from the posterior probability of the first data sequence. The second data sequence is detected according to the posterior probability of the second data sequence. The posterior probability of the second data sequence is updated as the posterior probability of the first data sequence.
