Abstract:
The present invention provides a reverse osmosis treatment device and a reverse osmosis treatment method with which it is possible to suppress fouling of a reverse osmosis membrane without causing major deterioration of the membrane, and that can stably perform reverse osmosis treatment on raw water having a high TDS. This reverse osmosis treatment device (1) comprises: a first reverse osmosis membrane module bank (10) for performing primary treatment on raw water to separate the water into a first permeate water and a first concentrated water; a second reverse osmosis membrane module bank (20) for performing secondary treatment on the first permeate water to separate the water into a second permeate water and a second concentrated water; and a return pipe (240) for returning the second concentrated water to the primary side of the first reverse osmosis membrane module bank (10), said return pipe (240) having one or more chemical injection parts (I, II), for the purpose of injecting a chemical into pipes. Alternatively, the chemical injection pipes are provided to a return pipe for returning the second permeate water to the reverse osmosis membrane module bank. The reverse osmosis treatment method involves injecting a chlorine-based bactericide or a chlorine-based bactericide precursor into the water being returned to the reverse osmosis membrane module bank.
