Abstract:
An information processing device (10) extracts pairs consisting of an abbreviation and an original word from text data, counts the number of appearances of the abbreviation and original word for each pair, determines which among the number of appearances of the abbreviation and the number of appearances of the original word is larger than the other, and stores the determination result in a determination table storage unit (14a). The information processing device (10) refers to the determination result stored in the determination table storage unit (14a), determines if words in text data to be reviewed include an abbreviation or an original word that is determined to have a low number of appearances, and, if it is determined that the words include an abbreviation or an original word that is determined to have a low number of appearances, then identifies the word as a word to be corrected.
