Abstract:
Disclosed is an RF resonator power coupler. The RF resonator power coupler comprises: an input unit which is composed of N input terminals and N loop antennas using the magnetic coupling of a resonator, and which inputs, into the resonator, signals input to an input connector element; a resonator for combining the input signals input through the input unit; and an output unit for outputting the combined signal generated by the resonator. The input unit is composed of: N input terminals for transmitting input signals; and N loop antennas that enable magnetic coupling between the N input terminals and the resonator, wherein the input terminals are connected to an input coaxial connector or a microstrip structure. The cylindrical resonator has a high-dimensional TM omo mode in which a magnetic field rotates in the axial direction and has m magnetic peaks in the radial direction, and a metal cylinder is added, inside the resonator, on the opposite side of a center pin of a coaxial line of the output unit, the resonant frequency of the resonator being adjusted by adjusting the height of the cylinder in the vertical direction. The output unit is composed of a first inner conductor for adjusting the degree of coupling, a second inner conductor for inputting signals of the coaxial line into a waveguide, and a third inner conductor for cooling the heat of the coaxial line.
