Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a rice plant production method that uses atmospheric-pressure plasma to promote rice plant growth. [Solution] This rice plant production method has a plasma radiation step for radiating atmospheric-pressure plasma at a rice plant seed C1. Plasma generated by a plasma generation device P10 is directly radiated toward the embryo E1 of the rice plant seed C1. The plasma radiation step is executed during a water absorption step in which the rice plant seed C1 is made to absorb water, i.e., is executed before the rice plant seed C1 germinates.
