Abstract:
A ring oscillator, provided with a first delay loop (A) and a second delay loop (B). An output end of the first delay loop (A) is connected to a first node (N1); an output end of the second delay loop (B) is connected to a second node (N2). The ring oscillator comprises: an oscillator module (1), located in the first delay loop (A) and the second delay loop (B), comprising a first number of latches (11, 12) connected in series, and having two input ends and two output ends, the two input ends being respectively connected to the first node (N1) and the second node (N2); a first delay module (2), located in the first delay loop (A), having an input end connected to a first output end of the oscillator module (1) and an output end connected to the first node (N1), and comprising a second number of inverters connected in series, the second number being an even number; and a second delay module (3), located in the second delay loop (B), having an input end connected to a second output end of the oscillator module (1) and an output end connected to the second node (N2), and comprising a second number of inverters connected in series. The method can improve the measurement accuracy of a delay oscillator.
