Abstract:
A ring-shaped clean metal casting mold has a casting mold main body which includes a low cold bottom template (1) and a peripheral low cold template (2). A ring-shaped high heat insulating layer (3) is mounted in the peripheral low cold template (2). A ring-shaped clean crystalline region (5) is formed between the peripheral low cold template (2) and the ring-shaped high heat insulating layer (3). The inner portion of the ring-shaped high heat insulating layer (3) is formed with a sacrificial crystalline region (6). The vast majority of impurities and segregations in the liquid metal are gathered at the portion contacting with the ring-shaped high heat insulating layer, after the liquid metal is solidified, hence the gathered impurities and segregations can be removed easily, to obtain a clean cast ingot.
