Abstract:
Provided are a road condition detection method and apparatus, which are applied to scenarios such as assisted driving and unmanned driving of an intelligent vehicle. The method comprises: acquiring a road image of a target road; determining a first detection point and a second detection point in the road image, wherein the first detection point is a vanishing point in the road image, and the second detection point is an intersection point of road boundary lines or lane lines, in the road image, of the target road, or the second detection point may also be an intersection point of extension lines of the road boundary lines or the lane lines, in the road image, of the target road; and determining a road condition of the target road according to the first detection point and the second detection point. By using the method provided in the present application, the accuracy of road condition detection can be improved, thereby improving the safety and reliability of an intelligent vehicle.
