Abstract:
(Problem) To improve the accuracy of vehicle speed calculation. (Solution) The present invention extracts, on the basis of an optical signal received from an optical fiber cable laid in a road, a first pattern according to the traveling state of a vehicle on the road in a first time range and a first distance range, generates, on the basis of the first pattern, a second pattern in which the number of time points included in the first time range or the number of positions included in the first distance range has been decreased, and calculates the traveling speed of the vehicle on the road on the basis of the second pattern.
