Abstract:
The present invention relates to a road sign information collection method using a mobile mapping system and, more specifically, to a method using a mobile mapping system including a remote sensing device, a navigation device, and the like to collect road sign information in real time and map the collected road sign information to a high definition map. Especially, in the present invention, an object and an attribute are extracted from continuous images on the basis of deep learning, so that accurate road marking information can be collected in real time and mapped to a high definition map, and the accuracy of recognition of road marking information can be greatly improved. In addition, in the present invention, the recall and precision (accuracy) of recognition of object and attribute information can be greatly improved through a process of refining a recognition result for an object into one result. Accordingly, reliability and competitiveness can be improved in the fields of autonomous driving, road recognition, and high-precision road maps for autonomous driving, as well as similar or related fields.
