A road state diagnosis system (100) is provided with diagnosis information generation devices (24) that are provided to a plurality of vehicles (11 to 1n) and generate diagnosis information used for road state diagnosis, a storage device (32) for accumulating and storing the diagnosis information generated at the plurality of vehicles (11 to 1n), and a diagnosis device (35) for road state diagnosis using the diagnosis information stored in the storage device (32). The diagnosis information generation devices (24) provided to the plurality of vehicles (11 to 1n) each use information acquired from an information source device (21) provided to the vehicle to which the diagnosis information generation device (24) is provided to generate diagnosis information that includes road state information indicating the state of the road on which the vehicle has traveled, travel position information indicating the relative position of the vehicle in relation to the road when the road state information was generated, and position coordinate information indicating the coordinates of the position of the vehicle when the road state information was generated.
