Abstract:
A road surface evaluation device (10) is provided with: an information acquisition unit (111) for acquiring respective pieces of travel information for a plurality of vehicles, which include position information for the plurality of vehicles during travel, and acceleration information indicating the accelerations of the plurality of vehicles, and acquiring map information, which includes information about a road; a roughness evaluation unit (112) for evaluating the roughness of the surface of the road on the basis of the acceleration information for the plurality of vehicles as acquired by the information acquisition unit (111); and an output unit (113) for outputting roughness information for the road surface evaluated by the roughness evaluation unit (112), in association with the information about the road acquired by the information acquisition unit (111).
