Abstract:
A robot and a chassis (100) thereof. The chassis comprises: a frame (10) with a mounting block (11) disposed in a front-rear direction in the middle and a sliding rail (111) disposed from rear to front and tilted downwards at the bottom of the mounting block; a front driven wheel (20) rotatably arranged at the bottom of the frame and near the front end of the frame; a rear driven wheel (30) rotatably arranged at the bottom of the frame and near the rear end of the frame; and a middle driving wheel device (40) comprises a sliding block (50) and a middle driving wheel (60), the middle driving wheel being rotatably mounted on the sliding block and the sliding block coordinating on the sliding rail. Hence, the middle driving wheel may move forwards and downwards relative to the frame during the walking of the robot in some specific situations so as to lift the frame to a certain extent and enables the robot to get over some barriers, thereby improving the obstacle crossing ability of the robot.
