Abstract:
A robot cleaner is disclosed. The robot cleaner comprises: a traveling device; an obstacle removal device for removing an obstacle on a traveling path; a memory for storing a cleaning area map and obstacle categories; and a processor for controlling the traveling device so that the robot cleaner travels within the cleaning area, wherein the processor can control the obstacle removal device so that, while traveling within the cleaning area, the robot cleaner performs a motion, corresponding to the obstacle category, for the obstacle detected by a sensor.
