Abstract:
Provided is a robot control method for a control device connected to a robot which performs work on a work object, and to a sensor mounted on the robot. This method first calculates environmental information indicating an environment surrounding the robot, on the basis of a plurality of pieces of environmental sensor information acquired using the sensor from a plurality of positions and angles for the environment surrounding the robot. Next, the method executes a first step for acquiring first sensor information using the sensor, calculating, on the basis of work goal information indicating a work goal for the work object of the robot, the environmental information and the first sensor information, first control information to cause the robot to approach the work goal, and transmitting the first control information to the robot. After the first step, the method executes a second step for acquiring second sensor information using the sensor, calculating, on the basis of the work goal information and the second sensor information, second control information to cause the robot to approach the work goal, and transmitting the second control information to the robot.
