Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a robot for controlling motion input processing in consideration of the motion state of the robot, and a driving method therefor. To this end, the robot can obtain input motion identifiers on the basis of a user input, identify a motion state indicating whether the robot is performing a motion, store the input motion identifiers if the motion state is ACTIVE, determine an active motion identifier on the basis of predetermined criteria from among one or more of the stored motion identifiers if the motion state is IDLE, and drive a motion corresponding to the active motion identifier on the basis of a motion map database. The predetermined criteria can be one from among a motion identifier configured on the basis of an external input, the most acquired motion identifier, or the most recently stored motion identifier.
