Abstract:
Provided is a robot hand device that can be joined to a robot arm, the robot hand device comprising: a body part that can be joined to the robot arm; a holding part that can hold a tweezer-type tool and can be coupled to the body part, the tweezer-type tool being capable of supporting an object by means of a plurality of contact parts which open and close relatively with respect to a fulcrum point, and at least one of which is movable; at least one finger part that is actuated by the body part in a direction in which the plurality of contact parts open and close, so as to open and close the contact parts of the tweezer-type tool being held by the holding part; and a damping mechanism that can displace at least a part of the holding part with respect to at least a part of the main body part in accordance with a force that is generated when the object is supported by the tweezer-type tool being held by the holding part. Objects with various shapes can be easily gripped, supported, or operated.
