Abstract:
A robot is disclosed. The present robot comprises: a center-of-gravity moving device, which moves a sensor, a driving unit and a mass unit so as to change the center of gravity of the robot; and a processor for identifying the traveling situation of the robot at first time on the basis of data acquired through the sensor, and the traveling situation of the robot at second time after the first time if the robot moves in the traveling direction of the robot from the location of the first time, controlling the center-of-gravity moving device on the basis of the identified traveling situation such that the mass unit moves, and controlling the driving unit such that the robot moves in the traveling direction in a state in which the mass unit has moved, wherein the traveling situation is determined on the basis of at least one from among the pose of the robot, the traveling state of the robot, and the situation of the robot with respect to the traveling path.
