Abstract:
A robot is disclosed. The robot includes: a drive unit; a grip sensor that is electrically connected to an antenna and senses whether an object is close, on the basis of capacitance change in the antenna; and a processor that identifies whether an object is close, on the basis of a signal received from the grip sensor and, if an object is identified as being close, controls the operation of the robot through the drive unit.
