Abstract:
A robot is disclosed. The robot comprises a plurality of sensors, a memory, a driving unit, and a processor. The processor may: when it is identified that a preset event has occurred, control the driving unit to move the robot to a preset point; when it is identified that the robot has moved to the preset point, obtain a plurality of images through the plurality of sensors; on the basis of the plurality of obtained images, identify whether or not correction is required for at least one sensor among the plurality of sensors; when it is identified that correction is required for the at least one sensor, obtain correction data for correcting sensing data corresponding to the at least one sensor on the basis of the plurality of images, and store the obtained correction data in the memory; when the sensing data is obtained from the at least one sensor, correct the obtained sensing data on the basis of the correction data stored in the memory; and control the driving unit on the basis of the corrected sensing data.
