Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the time required to correct the position and the orientation of a workpiece, thus achieving a reduction in cycle time to supply the workpiece. Provided is a robot system including: a robot device 1 for supplying a workpiece W to a machine tool 5; a hand 2 that is attached to an arm end of the robot device; a force sensor 4 for detecting an external force acting on the hand; and a robot control device 6 that controls the robot device. The robot control device has: an operation control unit 61 that controls the robot device in order to correct the position and orientation of the hand with respect to the machine tool, on the basis of an output from the force sensor; and a storage unit 65 that stores data related to the corrected position and orientation of the hand.
