A robot system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention may: estimate the position of a robot by using simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology; edit 3D simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) data; and detect and remove a dynamic obstacle while simultaneously performing mapping and localization by using the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology.
