Abstract:
Provided is a robot including: a camera; a driving part including a plurality of wheels and a suspension for connecting each of the plurality of wheels and a body of the robot; and a processor. The processor identifies, when it is identified that the robot is located at an entrance area of a moving walkway, a moving direction of the moving walkway and a moving speed of the moving walkway on the basis of a plurality of images with respect to the moving walkway received from the camera, controls the driving part so that the robot is directed toward the entrance direction corresponding to the identified moving direction, controls the suspension connected to at least one wheel among the plurality of wheels so that the robot is inclined at an angle corresponding to the identified moving speed, and controls the driving part so that the inclined robot moves in the entrance direction to enter the moving walkway.
