Abstract:
Provided is a robot capable of cooling a plurality of arms with a simple configuration. The robot is provided with: a first arm and a second arm capable of transferring an item to be transferred and pivotally rotating; a first pivotally rotating body which supports the first arm and includes a first fluid passageway and at least one second fluid passageway communicating with the first fluid passageway; a proximal-side arm which has an internal space and includes a hole part into which a part of the first pivotally rotating body is inserted; a second pivotally rotating body which supports the second arm and includes a third fluid passageway with one end communicating with the second fluid passageway and the other end communicating with the internal space, and of which at least a part is disposed between an inner-peripheral surface of the hole part and the first pivotally rotating body; a supply device which is disposed in the internal space and connected to an upstream-end side of the first fluid passageway, and which supplies a fluid to the first fluid passageway; a first motor for pivotally rotating the first pivotally rotating body; and a second motor for pivotally rotating the second pivotally rotating body.
