In this robotic surgery system (100), a second value (θ2) corresponding to the rotation angle of a motor (212a) when a prescribed current value (I1) is reached is acquired, and calibration is performed to modify a commanded angle of a closing operation of jaw members (43a, 43b) on the basis of the second value and a first value (θ1) stored in a first storage unit.
