Abstract:
A rock drill is arranged so that an object is broken up by a chisel (4) which is hit by a hammer member (12). The hammer member (12) is provided with an internal valve mechanism (18), and is moved by adjusting the direction of flow of a compressed fluid supplied to the hammer member (12) by the valve mechanism.
