Abstract:
A roll forming machine for forming a sheet metal in a desired shape by a roll die comprises the roll die enabling the gap between the block members thereof to be easily set, a roll forming machine to which the roll die can be attached without adjustment, and an automatic roll die attaching and detaching machine capable of automatically attaching and detaching the roll die to and from the roll forming machine. Two roll shafts (17, 62), the block members (28, 71) attached to the two roll shafts, and disk-like rotation holding members (24, 33, 69, 76) which rotatably hold the two roll shafts and which are brought into contact with each other are unitized into a pair of block units (2, 3), respectively. The unitized pair of block units are attachable to roll stands (99, 101, 103, 105) from above. The attachment of the block units from above is performed by the automatic roll die attaching and detaching machine (12).
