Abstract:
A roll polishing device capable of polishing a roll installed in a paper making equipment at an operating position, wherein a guide rail (10) extending in parallel with the rotating shaft of the roll is provided over the roll (R), a running support body (6) is suspended from the guide rail (10), the running support body (6) is allowed to run along the guide rail (10), a polishing machine (G) is suspended from the running support body (6), the polishing machine (G) comprises a polishing stone (B) and is movable in vertical direction, and an actuator (3) is installed between the running support body (6) and the polishing machine (G), whereby the polishing stone (B) is allowed to be in contact with the roll (R) with a desired pressuring force by operating the actuator (3).
