Abstract:
A roll support device (5) comprises: a pair of support rollers (11A, 11B) that supports an outer peripheral surface of a roll-shaped medium (3) formed by rolling a long-sized medium and that is provided to be capable of rotating together with the roll-shaped medium (3); a side wall having a reference surface that is in contact with one end face of the roll-shaped medium (3) in the axial direction along the center axis of the roll-shaped medium (3); and a pair of regulating members (15A, 15B) for pressing the other end face (4b) of the roll-shaped medium (3) in the axial direction toward the reference surface. The pair of support rollers (11A, 11B) is arranged on both sides of the center axis of the roll-shaped medium (3) when viewed from the axial direction of the roll-shaped medium (3). The pair of regulating members (15A, 15B) is disposed adjacent to each support roller (11A, 11B) on the outer side between the pair of support rollers (11A, 11B) in the circumferential direction of the roll-shaped medium (3) and provided so as to be movable independently of each other.
