Abstract:
A column part of this roller bearing retainer includes: a pocket surface (22) that is formed in an axial-direction center region of the column part and faces a pocket; a first roller guide surface (23) that is formed in each of one region and another region in the axial direction of the column part, that protrudes toward the pocket beyond the pocket surface (22), and that guides a roller; a thinned portion (25) that is formed on both axial-direction ends of the column part and recedes from the pocket beyond the pocket surface (22); and a second roller guide surface (24) that is provided between the first roller guide surface (23) and the thinned portion (25) in both axial-direction end regions of the column part, that protrudes toward the pocket beyond the pocket surface (22), and that recedes from the pocket beyond the first roller guide surface (23).
