Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a nip roller that exhibits heat resistance and abrasion resistance. This roller is characterized in that a rubber layer is formed on a surface of an approximately cylindrical core, this rubber has a change in hardness in a heat aging test carried out for 72 hours at 150°C in accordance with JIS K 6257: 2010 of 15° or lower in terms of type A durometer hardness specified in JIS K 6253: 2012, and a non-crystalline carbon-like film layer is formed on a surface of the rubber layer.
