Abstract:
A roller skate has wheel frames and wheels, which can use the pivoting motion of the
wheel frames to effect brake. The wheel frames are divided into front and rear ones,
which are fixed to the sole via connection elements. Both front and rear wheel
frames can pivot around the axis of connection element. Between the wheel frame
and the sole, or between the front wheel frame and rear wheel frame, an elastic element
is installed. In-line braking systems are mounted on the wheel frames and effected
by the pivoting motion of the wheel frames. The roller skate can have three or four
groups of wheels, and also can have a preset braking device.
