Abstract:

A rolling bearing comprising an outer ring being inserted into a knuckle, a stop ring being fitted to the inner circumferential surface of the knuckle while positioning the outer ring in the axial direction and having a cut in the circumferential direction, and a rotation detector for detecting the rotational speed of an inner ring, wherein the rotation detector comprises a pulser ring and a detection unit, and the detection unit comprises a detector body being secured to the knuckle with the end part thereof extending from the substantially same position as the stop ring in the axial direction to a position facing the pulser ring in the axial direction through the cut of the stop ring, and a detection element disposed at the end part of the detector body so as to axially face the pulser ring and detecting the variation of magnetic field incident to rotation of the pulser ring.
