Abstract:
A rolling bearing, wherein 0.4Da ≤ h ≤ 0.8Da where the minimum wall thickness of the portion thereof where an outer ring raceway track is provided at the axial center part of an outer ring is (h) and the outside diameter of rolling elements is (Da) and the dimensions of the rolling bearing are restricted so that a value (K) calculated by &lcub (h1.5.W)/(Da1.1.D0.5)&rcub can satisfy 1.20 ≤ K ≤2.00 where the outside diameter of the outer ring is (D), the axial width of the outer ring is (W), and the minimum wall thickness of the portion where the outer ring raceway track is provided at the axial center part of the outer ring is (h) even if the outer ring (4a) is fixed to a transmission case with a low rigidity, the outer ring can be prevented from being elastically deformed without recklessly increasing (thickening) the wall thickness (h) of the outer ring, and the outer ring can be prevented from being prematurely peeled off due to the elastic deformation thereof by sufficiently assuring the rigidity of the outer ring without recklessly increasing the size of the outer ring.
