Abstract:
Provided is a rolling bearing excellent in handleability and having an excellent creep resistance. A rolling bearing 1 comprises: an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 3 each serving as a raceway ring; and a plurality of balls 4 interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring. The outer ring 3 is fitted on a housing 10. An outer-ring outer diameter surface 3a on which the housing 10 is to be fitted has a surface coating 8. The surface coating 8 contains: a binder containing two or more kinds of thermosetting resin having different average molecular weights; and a solid lubricant. The solid lubricant contains molybdenum disulfide, a polytetrafluoroethylene resin, and a graphite.
