Abstract:
This rolling bearing (100) comprises multiple balls (30) and two race members (10, 20). The balls and the race members each have a contact surface. The balls and/or the raceway members have a surface layer part (50) formed in a region up to a depth of 20 μm from the respective contact surfaces. Of the balls and the raceway members, those members having the surface layer part formed therein is made of annealed steel. Raceway surfaces (10aa, 20aa), which are the contact surfaces of the raceway members, are formed in a partial circular arc shape in a cross-sectional view that passes through the central axis (A) of the rolling bearing and is parallel to the central axis. The diameter of the partial circular arc is 1.01-1.08 times the diameters of the balls.
