Abstract:
A rolling brush, which is configured to come into contact with a surface to be cleaned. The rolling brush comprises: a rolling brush body (1); an elastic member (2), which covers an outer circumferential face of the rolling brush body (1) and extends in the axial direction of the rolling brush body (1), cavities (3) being formed in the elastic member (2); and a cleaning member (5), which at least partially covers the outer circumferential face of the elastic member (2). When the rolling brush is subjected to an external force, the elastic member (2) deforms in a forced direction, so as to adjust the contact area between the cleaning member (5) and the surface to be cleaned. The elastic member (2) can increase the amount of deformation of the rolling brush, and the rolling brush is subjected, under self-gravity, to an upward supporting force from the surface to be cleaned, so that the elastic member (2) deforms, and the linear contact between the rolling brush and said surface is thus converted into surface contact, thereby increasing the scrubbing area; and the rolling brush cannot stall due to bouncing in the forced direction when transitioning between surfaces to be cleaned of different heights or materials, such that the transition of the rolling brush between the different surfaces to be cleaned is smoother.
