Abstract:

Provided is technology for tandem rolling that uses a circulating oil supply system but is compatible with high-speed rolling. As rolling oil supply systems that supply rolling oil to rolling stands selected from the rolling stands of a tandem roller, the present invention comprises a first rolling oil supply system (2) that circulates/supplies rolling oil from which rolling-generated wear debris has been eliminated and a second rolling oil supply system (14) that supplies rolling oil that contains rolling-generated wear debris. A mixed rolling oil that combines the rolling oil supplied from the first rolling oil supply system (2) and the rolling oil supplied from the second rolling oil supply system (14) is supplied to selected fourth and fifth rolling stands.
