Abstract:
Provided are a roof insulation sheet that protects an existing roof against direct
sunshine by using a simple structure obtained by laying or spreading the sheet
on the roof and that economically and effectively prevents, by using natural
cooling, the temperature of the roof from becoming high, and a roof structure
for reducing sound of falling rain. Through-holes having a diameter of 80 to 150
mm are disposed in a sheet material having heat-shielding characteristics and
blocking light and rainwater. The opening ratio of the through-holes is 3 to 8%,
and the thickness of the sheet is 0.2 to 2.0 mm. The insulation sheet is laid on the
roofwith a gap of approximately 50 to 90 mm between them.
